Outside of Germany during World War II, people around the world were appalled at the profound deceitfulness of Nazi propaganda, the ridiculous exaggerations, the outright falsehoods, the blatant evil towards their own Jewish population, and the astonishing acceptance of the German people. How on earth could intelligent, educated, rational people have been convinced by all that rubbish? So much as to allow the Holocaust to occur?
